Winter Warmer

It's a little chilly here today, and as much as I hated to, I ran to the grocery store to pick up a gallon of milk. I love fresh flowers, so I  always stop by the floral department on the way to the check out counter.
The tulips were in, and I just couldn't resist buying a bunch.

Love the color...

 ...the house feels...

...warmer already...

...ahhh...much better.

Enjoy your Sunday, and stay warm.
Hugs,
Babs

  8. Hi Babs....it was cold down here today too....I was out on the deck BBQing with my winter coat on...love the tulips especially when they start to droop over the vase....I buy flowers at Publix every other week...carnations and those other things that seem to never die....$12 for fresh flowers that last two weeks...not a bad deal...I love Publix!

  9. It is freezing here and last week my husband picked up flowers for me. I am amazed the difference by just bringing some fun bright color into our house. I have been moving them around the house and enjoying them all week. I love that changing the water and cutting off the ends really makes them last. Enjoy your flowers!

  15. I think your tulips were the perfect purchase. Sort of a reward for going out in the cold. :o) Makes me want some too. I really need groceries but have been putting it off! Have you been enjoying Downton Abbey? I was a sobbing heap the other night. I thought it was wonderful!
