In my last post, I showed some special ornaments in our house, and as much as these have special meaning to me...
Ralph Waldo Emerson said it best:
"The ornament of a house is the friends who frequent it."
All of you are the "ornaments of my house", and because of your friendship, my house is beautifully decorated.
Thank each of you for giving me the dearest gift of your friendship.
Wishing you all joy and peace this Christmas, and always.
Babs

ReplyDeleteA lovely post, have a good Christmas and I look forward to following you in 2012.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful Nativity set and an equally beautiful thought for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI also feel blogging has taught me so much about decorating.
I have two children living out of state and far away..so I know how you feel. I am fortunate enough to have four living near by and one within a days drive. Two of my oldest live in Georgia and Colorado..so..I miss them very much.
Have a wonderful Christmas and enjoy being with family. It's such a nice time of year..and I am glad I am not alone in loving a live tree. Of course it is sad when they die (and go to heaven!) :) but it is so much a part of Christmas..that I haven't given it up yet. Might never. :)
Have a blessed Christmas!
Mona
