Frenchy Bird Plate

I stopped by my favorite consignment shop, yesterday...on the way to the grocery store...and bought this cute little bird plate and stand...


...it didn't take long to have it wrapped, and I was on my way...after I had checked out everything else in the shop. The little bird, on the plate, is cute...


 ...but the thing I like most about it, is the bronzy metal plate stand...


...can you see the verdigris on the flowers?  Very French? 


Just adding a little Frenchy touch in my un-Frenchy house.

    I love your stand, too...and I have one almost like it. :)

    One of my favorite cousins name is Babs (Claudeen but everyone calls her Babs) so I think of her when I see your name. :)

    Love the easel the plate is on. I have thing with easels . Love them and this one is beautiful. The plate is great.

    Love that plate and stand! I like how the plate appears to be outlined in a brown twig. That is a great find. I love shopping in consignment stores!
