...gotta have shells...
...and a white dish here and there...
...a couple of style books...
...lots of baskets for storage...nothing new with them...they're always there...
...the skinny shelf on top...
...I switched books for a more coastal color...
...now, all I have to do is figure out what to do with all the books I took off the shelves.
Whew! I'm ready to sit down with a glass of iced tea...
Hope y'all have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Babs

love the addition of all those shells, i don't think anything could say "summer" more!
Love your summer shelves, Babs! Paula Deen's Savannah Style is a fav of mine. I just LOVE here newest home. xo, Ron
Lookin good there Babs.
I could seriously use your expertise to help me organise my bookcases to look as wonderful Babs.
Love how pretty and tropical your bookcases look. The baskets are a nice accessory and so is the silver. I love it mixed withthe books and shells. Hugs, Marty
Babs,
Viewing your entertainment cabinet ...this is the coolest I've been in a while!!! I adore the soft blue and green hues you've blended with your literary titles!!! The white plates look great as a backdrop and appear to reflect the glass and the light! No ice tea needed, dear friend, this look truly cooled me off! Thanks!
Fondly,
Pat
Hi Babs, Nice redo on the bookcase, and I recognize some of those books! I cannot figure out how to put my email on my profile info. It would be helpful, wouldn't it.
Oh there is so much beautiful style here! :D I love your mixtures of lights and darks and the shells mixed with sea theme! Beautiful!
Hugs,
Perfection Babs!!
I love it! I've recently lightened up my mantle for summer...won't be long and we'll be warming up our spaces with the darker and warmer colors and textures...oh, how I love summer though...the seashells, starfish and whites are lovely. Enjoy the remainder of the season!
Do know how doofy I feel right now? I always leave the same old books on my shelves. I never think to switch things up and lighten up for the summer season. I love the way your shelves look, and I'm currently sitting at my computer looking at my book shelves across the room, and saying hmmmmm...
All of your changes look great! I love the fresh summer colors and shells used. I actually keep alot of my excess books in a closet on the shelves. It seems there is never enough room to store them as we keep collecting more and more and not parting with the older ones. Don't you find it's hard to part with books?
I hope you DID sit down and take a little break after all of that!!! Books are NOT easy to move around!
Babs,
Hi! It looks really nice and neat. This is something I need to get to as well. The bowl of shells looks good there. Have a good week end.
Pat
I always like your shells and starfish vignettes. Indeed fresh and light! How is Paula Deen's book, "Savannah Style"?
Great changes, I like your summer look. I wish I could have the energy to change things out often. I enjoy looking at your lovely changes.
Some day I will get the nerve to show my media cabinet. LOL!
Hugs, Ginger
Babs, you need to come work on my shelves. Love the touches of white and the bowls of shells. Great job!
Babs, I forgot to mention your new header. It looks terrific.
Your bookcase looks great all "summerized"!!! I love shells and can't wait to be able to DECORATE again! XO, Pinky
