For some strange reason, it was in the seasonal section. Go, figure!
Do you think it's a candlestick? Hope so...'cause that's how I'm using it. I added the cabbage bowl to give it a bit more umph.
I know you've seen most of my green and yellow/orange dishes before, but they just seemed to work well with the candle holder, and they don't fight with the Halloween hutch...click here to see it.
My kitchen table is really narrow, so most of my tablescapes are simple.

Oh, wow....I thought the cabbage bowl came with the candlestick! That's cool, Babs!!! It really looks as if it's an original part of the piece, and it goes perfectly with the cabbage plates used at each place setting! We have a very small kitchen table, too. I think it's only like a 36" square. It's always a challenge to set it. You did a fabulous job of it!!! All the color and texture brings lots of excitement to the tabletop without having to put a bunch of stuff on there!!! Bravo!

Babs, it is a candle holder. I have the same shape. Purchased from TJMaxx? But mine has ghosts and goblins on it. I love yours and I remember seeing that design, too. Now why didn't I get one like that, too? I love your pretty table. It's the perfect setting! xo marlis

Fabulous Find! It is wonderful how one item can create a new and lovely tablescape. This piece appears to be a very expensive designer candleholder. The idea of adding the cabbage bowl is great!

Well first, I love the thrifty score and think it's perfect used that way. The little cabbage bowl amps it nicely, too. I haven't purchased a single little spidery pumpkin to use on a table this year. I didn't even think about it until I saw your table. Hope there are some left at the store. Love that.
That is just lovely, Babs, and works perfectly as a candle holder. Just wondering if it could be used as a vase when turned over if that part is hollow. Wouldn't that be cool -- duel uses!

Whatever it is it is darn cute,It looks great withyour dishes. Is it hollow on the other end-maybe it's a vase, since the flower heads would then be up.
