Whoo Hoo Witchy Woman...That's how I feel today. Don't let me scare you. It's just been one of those days. I don't like the Halloween mantel I did a couple of days ago. It took me forever, and I still don't like the way it looks. I changed it twice, took the photos, but they were either out of focus or too dark. Soooo, I'm going to sit down with a little snack, a cup of herbal tea, and nibble on a Kit Kat, or a donut, or... :)
I know this plate isn't pretty, but neither is my mood...I'm so desperate, I filled the plate with anything sweet I could find...
...even an old fortune cookie left over from the Chinese restaurant. Notice I didn't offer y'all any of my little snack. Sorry 'bout that, but I need all the sugar I can get...I even lit the pumpkin pie candle.
Anyway, I'm beginning to feel a little less witchy, so I'll show you a vignette I did for my little GrandGoblins.
They got such a giggle when I showed them their photos with the little felt masks.
Thanks for listening to me whine. Y'all are the best!
Hugs and hope ya have a great weekend,
Babs
Babs that's how I was feeling yesterday!! Nothing a few bite size snicker bars couldn't fix ;)
ReplyDeletePretty vignette, love the little masks! Too cute!
That's just the way I feel sometimes. I bought a bag of Kit-Kats for the grandkids today -- yeah, right. We'll see if they last until they stop by for some Grammy-time!
ReplyDeleteCute vignette with the grand goblins. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI can certainly relate to the frustration. As you know, I struggled with all my Halloween decorations this year. Finally got it done for the party Tuesday evening.
Candy corn was my fix..........Sarah
You're in good company! Everyone has days like that. Love the little ones pictures. Have a better day today!
ReplyDeleteDoesn't it just irritate you when you can't get the picture the way you want it! Those pictures with the grand kids are adorable! How on earth did you get or make such tiny felt masks!
ReplyDeleteBe SURE to save those photos of the grandchildren for, or let's say...to project on the wall at their wedding reception or, better yet, their bachelor party!!! :-) Not embarrassing at all. They'll love you for it. Woo hoo!!! Grandma's really cool for doing this to me as a kid so she'd have leverage when I became an adult!!! I did it to...er, FOR my son, and I'm sure he loves me even more! :-) Seriously, though, these are the kind of photos that you (and they) will cherish forever. You gave them a pint-sized giggle, and when they become adults (as long as you don't REALLY show it at any of their wedding events!!) they will be so glad that you took the time and effort to create something endearing. They're cute as buttons already, and this just upped the ante! I'm sorry your mood has been in the dumps, and I hope it gets a lift. If sugary snacks and herbal tea are what get ya goin', go for it! I'm sending you a virtual hug to go along with it! :-)
ReplyDeleteYes dear Babs, I get what you mean...I wasn't happy with my mantel and I fixed it around three times, until I posted it..not totally happy witgh it, either!! LOL! I love your goodie plate, you cracked me up! The vignette for the adorable children is terrific, I totally love the frames, and I think they will too..the pics are sensational, what a clever idea with the masks, wow!! I hope you felt better after eating all those sweet goodies..yeah, I felt like a big piece of cake yesterday too, with a crazy friend I have and couldn't find any, so I opened my grand's chocolate bombom box I had in the pantry..thank god for it! Loving the masked little ones..hehehehehe..
ReplyDeleteThanks for your sweet visit darling and have a great weekend.

Very cute idea....I'm really under the weather today with a nasty cold and I'm sitting here looking out at the pool and the weather looks gorgeous....I better snap out of it.....More hi jinx over at the Georgia Dome....go see my latest post....and I couldn't of been sick last weekend...I have to pick a weekend when there is an away game :(
ReplyDeleteHi Babs! I whine so much lately that I should open a school and teach it! It's terrible.
ReplyDeleteI did the same thing to my fireplace..fixed it over and over. I'm "alright" with it now..but..I just finally gave up the fight. Yes..and I hit the sweets too! :) 'cept I drank coffee with lots of caffine...and still wasn't inspired! :)
Hugs,
Mona
