A Bit of Tartan

I hope y'all are ready for Christmas. This year, as far as decorating goes, I seem to be a little disorganized...Ha Ha...nothing new there. I like to change things around a little each year, but one thing I always include is a bit of tartan.
Here are a few things around the house...

A tartan clad nutcracker...

...or two...and a red and black tartan throw to ward off the chill...

..a pair of nutcracker candle holders from Bombay Company...many years ago...

... a big nutcracker holds a tartan covered book...

...and a little musical pillow in Hubby's music room.

On top of the fridge, there's a little tree in a pot which has a tartan bow...

...and beside it, a tartan plate. I know y'all have seen these before...

...cocoa in a tartan mug, tartan napkin, and a square glass candle holder that I wrapped with a wide tartan ribbon...

...and of course, a tartan photo frame with this year's exciting visit with Santa.

It's really cold here in Georgia, and starting to feel like Christmas.
You'd better watch out. It won't be long now...Santa's on his way.
Hugs, and stay warm,
Babs

Oh, how I love that big ol' nutcracker! You know I love BIG!!! He's cool! He and my "Geoffrey" should meet! :-) Love that pillow with the jingle bells, too. That's really cute! Sometimes the visit with Santa doesn't go as planned. The results are always EXCELLENT blackmail material for later in the child's life...especially the boys! :-) Great tartan display, Babs! Have a super Merry Christmas!!!
