Favorite Containers

Hi, Everyone. I'm joining Alison@ The Polohouse for Favorites on the First. The theme, this month, is favorite containers.

Here are some of my favorites:

Baskets ~

...for holding May flowers...

...or for storage.

Bowls ~

...blue and white English ones...

...for pudding...

...or a silver Revere style for a snack.

Vases ~

...a turquoise vintage one...

...a little majolica pitcher to hold Lenten roses...

...and a large glass container that can be used as a vase to hold flowers, or as a hurricane for a candle.

What are your favorites?

Please join in the fun at Alison's, and have a great Super Bowl weekend.
Hugs,
Babs

Beautiful elegant vases and bowls, Babs! You have wonderful taste! I love the white basket on your door. Is it flat on one side? I would love something like that for my door this spring!

Beautiful containers you are sharing with us. I think my favorite is the blue and white bowl. I have fallen in love with blue and white this year and hope to gather more of it.

Good Afternoon Babs, What a lovely collection of vases and baskets. I love the way you have placed flowers in the hurricane glass with just a little bowl of water...what a great idea.
Have a lovely weekend.

Lots of pretty containers here, Babs! I would say my most favorite one is the English Blue Willow one. Reminds me of my sweet grandmother!

Thanks so much for sharing at Favorites on the First. I would have come by sooner but have been on college visits with my daughter for five days. Could not comment from my cell phone for some reason!

Have a fun weekend.

Super cute Babs! Love the May basket and the aqua vase! Darn, wish I would have been prepared to join Alison. I forgot to check and see what her theme was. Oh well, next month.

Containers are a life saver aren't they? My favorite one is the silver bowl but the basket with the number tag is a close second! I've lost touch with Alison and should stop over. Without my blog roll I've lost track of so many blogs. I wish I knew what to do about it...hope you have a wonderful week!

:D I like the variety of containers you featured in this post. I like seeing folks using silver on a daily basis.
