Snowy Trees and Tartan Kitchen Table ~2013

It isn't snowing here in Georgia...

...but there are snowy trees and snowy dishes on the kitchen table...

... a tartan runner with a red tray, fresh greenery, wicker stars and pinecones...

... an ornament at each place...

...a spruced up tiered stand on the kitchen island...

...a candle in a glass kitchen canister, and...

...my kitchen and breakfast table are almost ready for Christmas.
I just need to add a few touches here and there around the house, and I'll be finished.

  3. This will teach me Babs!!LOL, I have several blog windows open and the sun is streaming in the window and I thought I was at Liz's but I was at Bab's. I shield my eyes and scroll through the blog post. Not a good way to browse. Anyhoo...having said all that, my comment stands...just exchange Liz for Bab's. Now I am on my way to Liz's to see what kind of damage I can do.
    Merry Christmas!:-)

  5. What a pretty Christmas table! The red tray used as the basis for the centerpiece with the green trees and white candle is lovely! Your ornament for the accent for each place setting is a great idea. Have a very Merry Christmas!

  6. I love this, Babs! We so rarely get a glimpse of your dining table all set up. You need to correct that oversight! This is beautiful!!! I really love the tartan runner and that gorgeous centerpiece you crafted. It is perfect for Christmas and beyond on into January! The tiered stand on the island is equally pretty!

I remember it snowing when I was in Georgia in 2007. Totally caught me off guard. I thought Georgia was one of those states that always had fairly warm weather. Ha! Fooled me!!!!!! I had no coat, no sweater...nothin'! Learned my lesson!!!

  11. Babs, no it is definitely not snowing in Georgia! However, I like the way you made me feel that it is possible, even if it is only in our houses!! Your table is very pretty and I love the tartan runner. Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas, despite our lack of snow - lol!!
