Family Room Changes

Several weeks ago, we bought a new TV because the old one had developed a pixel problem.
After much research, Hubby decided we needed a larger one.
Well, of course we knew it wouldn't fit in the entertainment center that we had...and that meant buying a console...and a sound stand "thing". After all, you can't have a new TV without a new sound system. :)
You know how one thing leads to another.

Here's the new TV and console, and bare-ish walls.

The square basket hides the cable outlet, and a new grocery store fern softens the corner.

The big entertainment center is now in Hubby's music room, and it's great for storing his "treasures".
It seems strange not having it in the family room, but actually, I'm liking the lighter, fresher look.
I'm just not sure about the picture above the TV. That's a "maybe".

The sofa wall is still a work in progress.

Here's a pic from my last post..click HERE to see how I made the pictures.

It's beautiful weather today and I'm making pimento cheese sandwiches for lunch. Then it's outside to do a little yard work.
Hope y'all are having a great Sunday, too.

Your room looks great. The new tv and console make a good marriage. I like how you got the Kentucky Derby on the TV screen!

Men love their big screen tv's! I like how you placed it on the credenza. It looks perfect there. I think my husband will eventually want a bigger tv too. We've been limited on the size since it goes into an armoire. Wasn't this weekend just beautiful?! I heard that it will continue all week too.

I definitely know how one thing leads to another in changing things up!! It is fun and exciting though. Looking forward to see what you do with the wall!
