I love using them in the foyer, because their happy little faces are always so warm and welcoming.
Here they are in the daytime, "practicing" their carols...
...next to the beautiful poinsettia basket, given to us by a friend last week. I think the color works perfectly.
Grandma and Grampa are in fine voice...she's been out shopping, and he's reminding her of the time...
...the children brought toys for sharing...
...and it's beginning to get dark...
...the street lamp and Christmas tree are glowing...
...as Father begins the carol...
...their voices can be heard, soft and clear...
...O Holy Night, the stars are brightly shining.
It is the night of our dear Saviour's birth.
Wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas.

ReplyDeleteI have always wanted a set of those little carrolers for the top of my piano at Christmas..but so far..I haven't gotten them. They are just wonderful!
ReplyDeleteMona
I have long wanted a set of those. My mom has four of them, and I love the way they look. They literally DO make me start to sing when I see them.
ReplyDelete(Probably lucky for the family that I don't have any around here, then.)
The carolers are so sweet! Thank you so much for visiting L'Heure Bleue At Home and becoming a follower. I appreciate it and am following you back!
ReplyDeleteWe seem to like similar things..so I've decided to follow you too and get to know you. :):)
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling you are going to a lot of fun.
Hugs,
Mona
I love the detailing of the carolers. My sister also collects these. I like the boy with the nutcracker best. :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes, a single simple fresh wreath on the front door is all you need. I love to see a small white country church with only a green holly wreath adorned with a red bow. It's so welcome and comforting and sweet. Love your carolers. I bet it so pretty at night all lit up. Merry Christmas. xo
ReplyDeleteI think I can hear them singing. The setting is just beautiful
ReplyDeleteBabs,
ReplyDeleteI could almost here them singing! This is elegant, dear friend! Thank you for sharing!
Fondly,
Pat
