Why Did I Buy This?

Why did I buy this?
I have no daughters or granddaughters to play with it...

...it's rather shabby...

...and, I have no place for it in the house...

...I do like it in the garden, though...

...with a pitcher of flowers on the seat...

...and, it was only $2.52 cents at GW...so stinking cute and, I love it.
I must be reverting to my childhood, because it's a doll's high chair. :)

Hugs,
Babs

How sweet and I love the flower arrangement. Who cares about what others think -at my age I do whatever makes me happy!

Oh my goodness - what GW do you go to that it was only $2.52? We see much higher prices than that here in PA. Cute!! Will weather and deteriorate very quickly outdoors w/o a sealer. But for $2 - that might be just fine :)

Babs, what a cute accent for your garden! I have seen a lot of chairs, but never a high chair! How cute is that?!

I like it too! It's probably because the color is so wonderful. I love it used as a planter. those pink flowers look great against the blue color of the chair.

You bought it for the same reason that my heart skips a beat when I see a child's tea set or a lovely doll. Charmingly childlike. :)

Thank you so very much for your friendship and loving support!

I still have my own wooden doll high chair and the one that my daughters' had. I love wooden doll furniture. I wouldn't have thought to put it in the garden, but it's really cute there!

(Of course, you would have to have a cute garden, right?)

Hi Babs,

I love it and you have it displayed so beautifully.

I smiled when I saw your 'summer ends' icon at the top of your blog. I struggle so with summer. Yikes!

Have a blessed weekend.

Babs, This is so sweet. Love it, love it. My daughter still has her dolly high chair in a guest bedroom.
I love yours in the garden.
I am still laughing at the $2.52. What's with the two cents. Someone put in their two cents worth.
Thanks for sharing, Ginger

Babs,
I have NO idea...but I'm glad you did! It makes an adorable planter. Perhaps it is the comforting blue hue? Too darn cute, dear friend!
