Busy Weekend

We had a fun and busy weekend. Almost everyone in town, not to mention a few who flew in, attended my cousin's wedding.  Friday evening was the rehearsal, and the wedding was Saturday evening.
We got to the restaurant for the rehearsal dinner, a few minutes early and I managed to get a few photos...before rest of the guests and wedding party arrived...

..cheese and crackers to nibble while waiting for the wedding party to arrive...I like the way they were served on a granite slab...

...tables, chairs, linens...all in white...

...I love the little table set for the children who were to be in the wedding.

A special table was set for the bride and groom...

...salad...sorry, I didn't get a pic of the dinner plate...too busy eating...

...the grounds were really pretty...

...no, we didn't eat outside...it was way too hot and muggy...

...a little gazebo for an outside event...

...other guest have started arriving, so we'd better go inside.
We had a wonderful weekend...hope yours was too.
Hugs,
Babs

What a beautiful place to have a wedding. The reception hall is gorgeous! Looks like some pretty pictures could be made of the happy couple outside on the colorful grounds! Too bad it was so hot!

I'm a certified wedding fanatic so I love seeing pictures and ideas from weddings. The granite slab for the cheese tray was a great idea, and I love the little table for the kids.

I really love the table for two in front of the fireplace for the wedding couple.

Wow, Babs...I am totally in love with that cheese & crackers presentation! That's a beautiful way to turn something ordinary into something "ooh wee!!!" The room was set beautifully! I am such a huge fan of all-white wedding settings. The kids' table was just the cat's pajamas! I just know that that table had to be the talk of the evening! I'm sure the kids were really delighted by it. It's not often that such care & consideration is taken on their behalf. I'm glad you had a good time, and congratulations to the newlyweds!!!
