Controlled Bubbles

Recently, I started collecting controlled bubbles glass paperweights.
I really love them, and because I'm such a control freak...

...I'm controlling the bubbles even more!
I put one of the paperweights on a silver tray, in a dish and under a cloche.
Wow! Total Control!

The bubbles and the turquoise color of the dish are so soothing to me...when I'm out of control...

...see, there are even little "bubbles" in this turquoise dish.

The stem on the glass looks like it has a bubble in the middle...but it doesn't.

I also controlled a couple of fishing floats in the glass dish and the turquoise stem ware...well, they kinda look like bubbles.

Even the handle on the cloche reminds me of a bubble...I know, it sounds like I've had a glass or two of the bubbly. :)

Now that I have all my bubbles under control...more or less...
...let's go visit Marty for her cloche party on Table Top Tuesday.

Hugs and see you there~

You crack me up. :)

Your bubbles are really pretty. I've admired those in other places before but didn't know they were called that. Learned something today. That particular cloche is especially pretty too.

Great accessory! I have a small cobalt blue one from a glass factory in Thailand, but I think I'll be on the lookout for more!

Babs,
Your glass bubbles and cloche are very appealing to the eye. The colored glass is so pretty. You seem to have an eye for choosing the right places to put them too.

Those are quite pretty! Who knew that paperweights could be so interesting? I love how you grouped them together and put them under cloches. The colors are very soothing.

Too cute Babs! I love this post. It made me laugh because she's always telling me that I live in my own little bubble. A world where everything is bliss. I tell her 'yes' and don't you dare pop it. lol! I didn't know the paper weights were called that. And guess what? I have that exact little turquoise dish with the bubbles. It's ever so sweet! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
hugs,
