I've been working in the yard a little bit this week, and haven't done much around the house.
But, here's a quick vignette I did for the breakfast table a few days ago.
You'll probably notice I used some of the pics to make my new header.
The fresh peaches were so beautiful...and delicious.
The vignette was easy peasy. My favorite kind.
Today, I ran to TJ Maxx/Home Goods, and found a new pillow, to go with the family room sofa.
The sofa is a strange shade of brownish green, and it's a bear to coordinate colors with it. The new pillow is the rust color one in the middle...in case you didn't guess.
They've already started getting in some things for Fall.
I guess Fall will be here before we know it. Would you believe school starts here on August 7th?
Oh, and I bought another Nell Hill's book...my third. I found this one at GW.
Guess I'd better go now. My iced tea glass is empty, and the peach ice cream in the freezer is calling my name.
Thanks for stopping by. Hope y'all are having a good week.
Hugs,
Babs

Peach ice cream? I'll be right over! How lucky to find a Nell Hill book at GW. I have a nice collection of her books and enjoy them frequently. Love the new pillow!
I smiled looking at your vignette. I could do one just like it here, but my compote would be red rather than green, and my little angel vine doesn't look as full and pretty as yours. I've managed to kill another one. Will give it a go one more time. I think these are so pretty! Love the topiary you made with yours.
Beautiful vignette, Babs! Love the cushion too! I have the same Nell Hill book. Take care and have a fabulous weekend! Peach ice cream sounds great. :)
We haven't had any peaches this year and peach ice cream is our favorite.
Your vignette is so pretty and I can tell you enjoyed doing it. Love your green bowl.
Love fresh peaches. Your vignette is very pretty, so is your header.
Wow peach ice cream! Sounds so good! I like the pillow- it's the right depth of color. School starts August 7th? Ours start the day after Labor Day.
I really like that pop of orange on the sofa! The pillow and peaches are perfect partners :)
Babs,
Your kitchen vignette is just peachy, dear friend!!!
Sorry, I couldn't help myself!!!
Love the new pillow!!!
Yes, I've been seeing a few Autumnal accessories!!!
This past week I bought a wheat candle holder for my Thanksgiving Tablescape and the cutest Pumpkin Teapot!!!
Last week, when it was nearly 100 degrees here on the Prairie, I bought a Christmas Ornament and two mercury silver and lime green votives for my Christmas decor!!!
August is back~to~school time and time for Gathering with Family & Friends!!!
Have a wonderful weekend!
EnJOY your peach ice cream!!!
Fondly,
Pat

The pillow did work well! Loved you vignette with those beautiful peaches.
Your peach vignette is so perfect! And that orange pillow looks beautiful. What an awesome find in that book. I love to spend hours going through those types of books. Thank you for sharing with us at TTF.
Hi Babs,
So nice to meet you!
Your peach vignette is perfectly sweet! Guess what? My sister has the same couch, but she got it from a furniture store in Canada called Leon's. Unbelievable! I love the orange pillow; great punch for autumn!
Have a happy week!
Poppy
