Sunday in the Garden

Sundays are when I like to walk the yard, and garden, to see what's happening...what's pretty, and what needs to be ripped out...given some loving care.

Zinnias

Back garden

Straight neck squash...this one is doing really well...

...this one next to it, has gotta go
It's amazing how one squash vine can be doing so well, and this one is pitiful. Not one squash from it! It's headed for the compost bin.

Georgie

Front yard

I divided the Caladiums and spread them out on Friday. Probably not the best time to do it, but they seem to be doing ok.

Thanks to the rain, things are looking green.

 Natchez Crepe Myrtle...LOVE it!

How's your Sunday going?
Hugs,
Babs

Your yard looks great. We are getting a lot of rain too. I have a long list to do but I have been so busy with other things.

Your zinnia's are gorgeous. I haven't seen the variated ones before.

I am also way behind visiting blogs.

A Sunday walk in your garden is a lovely way to spend the day. Everything look lush and green. I've never divided caladiums. The ones I planted look pretty sad with the exception of the large pots. The ones in the beds are barely hanging on.
Happy Sunday!

Everything looks very happy and healthy! (Well, except maybe for that one squash:@) Love your zinnias especially the one in the upper right corner!

You have such a lovely lawn. It looks like you are getting enough rain to keep things nice and green. Florida looks like the tropics right now with all of the lush growth. Love the zinnia that is part pink and part white and pink. How pretty! We're having squash with our dinner tonight...grilled! Hugs!

Everything is looking good and yes, we are certainly green this year due to all the rain.

Your gardens are so very pretty!! I like to walk around my gardens in the mornings, too. It's a great way to start the day ... and see what the next projects are!

Your yard is beautiful! Zinnias are one of my favorites and I don't have any in my yard!! I keep planning to do a large bed of them but keep putting it off until its just too late to battle the heat to keep them living!

Love the flowers Babs! I hope the caladiums do good- I don't have that much experience with them to know but somehow I bet they'll do good for you!
I had a garage sale all day Saturday and Sunday was all about cleaning up.

Babs,
Gorgeous Zinnias, dear friend!!!
Your Gardens are looking lovely!
I agree, thank goodness for the rain!!!
Our Sunday was filled with Worship, dinner out, a Baby Shower @ Church in the afternoon and an evening phone call to my 91 year old Dad!!!
Thanks for asking!!!
Fondly,
Pat
