But, Queen of Hearts Antiques and Interiors had their Fall Open House last week, and I won a door prize!
They were potted ones I used for Fall decoration last year. After they finished blooming, I planted them in the garden.
And the second surprise? No...no critters this time...
I don't know why I get so excited when I find a double yolk egg.
You can tell it doesn't take a lot to amuse me.

Babs, Your prize is really something special. It is so unique and you won't run into that one in Walmart. It looks so great in the den.
I would be excited about a double yolk also. It has been years since I had a double yolk. Does that mean it takes the place of two eggs in a recipe? LOL!!

What a cool prize, very different!
My FIL told me that most restaurants buy double yolk eggs. The use an infrared light to see inside the eggs. Who'd have thought?

I've never encountered a double egg yolk that I can recall. That would be quite a surprise!

Well I would get excited over a double yoked egg too cause I have never seen one before. What's more exciting is that had it been allowed to hatch it would've been twins. Awww!!!
