Our son, DIL and two grandsons will arrive tomorrow, and I'm almost finished with my "to do" list.
Here's what I've been doing the last couple of days.
Friday, we went to a yard sale, and I found this cute metal chicken. The new flower garden isn't fully planted yet, so to fill in the bare spots, I added some fun animal figures for the grands to see.
The bunny is so old...given to me by a friend many years ago. The squirrel was given to me by a neighbor, and the fox, I've had for ages, too.
I'll buy a few flowers for the grands to plant. They usually visit in November...not planting time...but, this year, we'll have a little time to "play in the dirt".
The pansies are ones I found for half price at Walmart. I needed a little color for the deck tables.
Oh, and I found this original oil at the yard sale, too. $8...whoo hoo!
It's titled "Sea of Gold", by H. Englund.
The little brown bunnies are visiting in the Easter basket, waiting to go on the kids' table on Sunday.
The last thing is a decoration by the driveway...
...the "welcoming committee", waiting for their arrival.
I hope to do another post in the next few days, but in case I don't, I hope all of you have a very Happy Easter.

That's a sweet welcome! Love your pansies and all of your pretty decorations! Enjoy your week my friend!
Oh everything looks so pretty. I love your bunnies, they are the cutest and the basket is gorgeous.
The yard bunnies make me smile Babs. Happy Easter to you:}
Looking good, Babs! Enjoy your visit. xo
I think you've thought of everything! It all looks so pretty and festive. I hope you have a great time with your family this week.
Enjoy your visit Babs...the grands are going to love the welcoming committee!!
Wonderful thoughts of Spring! Thanks for being a part of Seasonal Sundays.

Beautiful...I really like your garden animals.
You always have the most wonderful decorations!! I"m about to head out and go to Garden Ridge for two metal chickens I saw there. Hubby was with me and I didn't buy them, but I've had buyers regret ever since!! Since he won't let me have real chicken - he shouldn't mind if I get metal chickens!!!
Babs, the grands are going to squeal with delight at all these cute things to discover in the garden. Love the greeting committee! I have a bunny just like your standing guy. I'd love to add a fox statuary to our garden, but haven't found one yet. Only bunnies among my flowers and a dog holding a basket of flowers. It's fun to have little points of interest to be discovered within a garden.
Have fun and enjoy the family time. Happy Easter!
You have been busy!! Hope you have a wonderful time with you family!
I love the metal chicken you found! Have a great time with the family - I'm sure they will be smilingwhen they arrive with that welcoming committee ;)
I'm a little late on this post so by now your family members have arrived. I hope you have a wonderful time together. Have a joyous Easter!
Babs,
Everything looks lovely at your home, dear friend!!!
Your basket for the children's table is charming!!!
Happy Easter to you, too, dear friend!!!
Fondly,
Pat
Well, I have one child arriving in two days and I don't have half the festive decor that you do. I have a wonderful lawn bunny with a place for a plant or eggs, and I have put neither in her.
I love your Easter stuff and hope not only get all you want done but have a wonderful time with your family to boot.
Happy Easter!
