Shopping for St. Patrick's Day

Hi, We just got back from the market.
I bought a few things for St. Patrick's Day.

Oops! Hubbs left his Irish cap on the hutch. That rascal! :)

There. That's better.

I picked up cabbage, potatoes (of course), carrots and some deli corned beef for sandwiches, too...that's in the fridge.

A bunch of daffodils will be just right for a vase on the table.

The pub sign is one we used for a party a couple of years ago.

Whew! After all that shopping, I think I'll have a cup of tea, before starting supper.
Wishing y'all a Happy St. Patrick's Day.

Joining Cuisine Kathleen for her 7th Annual St. Patrick's Day Blog Crawl.
See you there.

I think your hutch looks so festive for the green and I don't mind the hat. Love the vignette with the vegetables, the pretty cup and that pub sign is fabulous! I'm sure you will serve up a "grand" meal to the hubs.

What a wonderful vignette...love it when veggies are included...to me there is nothing prettier than a head of cabbage before the green grocer pulls all those beautiful outer leaves off.
Happy SPD, Babs!

Love the basket of market goodies. Sometime what is right at hand is the most artful of all.

Hi Babs, I love your St. Pat's Day vignette!! Your hubby's cap is very dapper looking. ;) My husband has a tweed Guinness cap that he purchased in Dublin, and he's worn it so much, it's about to wear out. Your cabbage, potatoes, and carrots look so fresh, and the daffodils are lovely. I especially love the mug (Belleek?), the cabbage plates, and the beautiful green candlestick. It all looks so festive together.

Hope you have a great weekend, Babs!

Hugs,
