In spite of that, our yard seems to be loving all the rain and cooler temps we've been getting. Here are a few pics from today.
The front yard, near the driveway is "forty shades of green" ...and purple.
"Madame" is always a great "performer".
Knock Out Rose bushes are huge...
The newly planted urn by the front steps...I really need to put out mulch next week..
Teasing Georgia rose buds, and yellow iris in the back garden.
Golden Scepter hosta in the pine island and a volunteer...
...a huge Thistle.
I'll wait til it blooms and then pull it up....carefully.
That's all for now. I'm watching The Weather Channel, keeping track of the storms going across the Midwest and South.
Hugs, stay safe, and have a great weekend.

Hi Babs! Oh, your gardens are so lovely! Love the knock out roses and everything else. Oh, will those kind of roses grow in a shaded area?
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Your yard is beautiful...looks like spring has arrived big time in Georgia! The roses are gorgeous.
Have a great weekend, Babs.
Oh! Heavenly, Babs! You have so many plants and flowers we don't have!
Stay safe in those storms! I thought tornadoes were only in the Midwest.

Everything looks so perfect! Can't believe how much ahead you are with the plants and flowers. I like the looks of that thistle. The birds love it when they flower. I had one for a while and they'd clean the seed out so fast I was amazing! Spring seems to come on rather wildly in the southern and Midwest regions compared to up here. Thank goodness for all the ways we can learn of these threats like tornadoes through many ways these days. Enjoy those roses! (Jealous)!
Beautiful garden tour but I have to confess that my favorite is the thistle!
Hi Babs, I love seeing your gardens! I live in West Virginia, and am about 3 weeks behind you in growth and bloom timing. I'm waiting on irises, clematis and poppies right now, as well as my later-blooming variety of azaleas (neighbors' are all in bloom).
We've also had lots of rain, and you can practically watch the greens grow!
Happy gardening. :)

I love how beautiful your plantings are right now! I think the rain has really helped green things up.
Hi Babs,
Your flowers are so pretty, as is what I can see of your yard and the brick walk way.
Thanks so much for your recent visit to my Spring blooms and Fairies post.
Have a great week,
Gina
