Hiding the Cables

A few months ago, we replaced our old TV. Hubby wanted and even larger one, but I managed to talk him out of it. Thank goodness!
Actually, the size we got is just right for the room. Did you know there is a formula for determining what size TV fits best in a room?  I just stumbled on it and here's the link
Of course, the new larger TV meant it wouldn't fit into the entertainment center we already had, so we bought a new console.

We really like the new look, but when you walk into the room you see the side/back of the TV and the cables...not a big thing, but it looked like it needed something there.
I've been looking for a tall vase to use on that side, but haven't found just the right one yet.

So, I pulled this together from things I already had...sort of a transition-into-Fall look.

I used some dried hydrangeas from the yard, dried okra pods and a branch of faux Fall leaves from my stash.

I think that'll work for now, but I'm still looking for that perfect vase.

Hope y'all are having a great week,
xo Babs

Perfect solution!!! This post reminds me of my first old home and my decorating solutions to cover old scratchy furniture or damaged walls until I could get it fixed. TFS

The bottle full of natural goodies is beautiful! I just love hiding cords that way. :) Sneaky.

That's perfect Babs! Hiding cords, cables etc., is always hard. I like the arrangement you made in the vase. Mixing natural and faux works perfectly! I just did an arrangement that way too!

Those darn cables! I keep thinking one day they won't exist anymore. Some new technology will take it's place. I like your bottle with Fall flowers in it. That was a good idea to hide the cables too.

Oh, how I like that vase!!! Keep it....you can change the contents with the season or holiday. You could also add pebbles or some colored sea glass inside. Great solution you came up with!! xoxo
