Tool Caddy Two Ways

What is it about tool caddies? I keep buying them! Here's one I got last week, and started playing with today...I put together two different looks, but since I couldn't decide which to show you...I'm showing you both.

This one is on the hutch. I know you saw my Bordallo hen just a few days ago, but...she's still hanging around, and hasn't made it back to the storage closet yet.

She also has a little friend peeking around the corner of the caddy. He's checking out the cabbage plates, and wondering if it's going to be chicken and cabbage for supper. The yellow plate is another gift from my friend Priscilla.

Here's the same caddy, but in the family room, holding books, a plant, and...

...a little Staffordshire style figure.

There...one caddy, two looks.
Do you have a thing for tool caddies too?

I'm really glad you stopped by.
Let's head over to join these great parties.

Love tool boxes. Or plumber's boxes which are the longer ones, which is what I have. I love the books in them. Good idea Babs. Is your forsythia blooming? Mine is.

Babs both displays look fabulous!
I love that end table in your family room.

Both ways are charming, Babs. I have a thing for any wooden box container, so yes, these tool caddies speak to me. I"d let that little hen stay out and be seen. '-)

Back to answer your question here-hope you don't mind. That red heart is some sort of ornament I bought at an estate sale for one dollar.

Love your display of containers, especially the blue and white ones with the red roses. I just love blue and white.

Both vignettes in the tool caddy are great! I LOVE the lettuce leaf dishes and the Staffordshire-like figurine!! So cute. Amazing how one caddy can have such completely different looks!

Tool caddies are cool. That's why you like them so much! I have one that is just filled with tons of seashells in one of the guest bathrooms. I've never gotten as creative as you with it. I need to get off my fanny and get with the program!!!

I LOVE the second arrangement with the books in your caddy! I have several caddies and want to try that. So creative!

You've done them up beautifully! I love them both.

You and I have the same addiction to tool boxes. I like totes, as well. The cabbage bowl and plate look adorable teamed up with the hen in her nest. And what a great place to nest some books! Very creative, Babs. :-) Sue

Just something about caddies, right? I love old tool and fishing boxes too! Anything that you can use to hold things is just fun. Both vignettes are great. Can't decide which I like best. Thanks for sharing with SYC.

Jann

I have been intrigued by your blog and you have a talent of putting together decor...containing it in something and making it beautiful and interesting. Do you have a floral design background?
