Black and White Fall Wardrobe Basics

Every couple of years I usually need to buy new basic wardrobe items...not the most exciting things to shop for sometimes, but necessary.
 Now that the weather is a bit cooler, I'm more interested in shopping for Fall. 
I just can't try on sweaters when it's in the 90s outside...I don't care how cool the fitting room is!

A couple of weeks ago, I found this moto inspired vest by Rafaella, on clearance, at Belk. It's stretch cotton and just the right weight for now and later.

I can tell these black skinny leg jeans are going to get a lot of wear.
They're Charter Club from Macy's and so comfy. I many have to get another pair before my size is gone.
The belt is from Target.   

I can't wait to wear this salt and pepper knit tunic from TJMaxx.
It has a "modern" look with dolman sleeves and curved sleeve openings.

I like this long silver necklace, but I may look for something chunkier to wear with the top instead. 
The necklace is from Charming Charlie and I know I'll enjoy it with lots of other pieces as well.

Really basic, and necessary pieces...scoop neck, black and white long sleeve tees. 
Love the cotton and spandex blend. They're also from Rafaella.

And last...

...black leather ballet flats. Love, love these. They'll be perfect with my black, ankle length skinny jeans.

They're made by Easy Spirit and perfect for doing more shopping.
All I have to do now is find a few more things to add a little color to these black and white basics... a bright top or two, or maybe...

...something in cheetah?
