Odd Vignette

I didn't plan for this vignette to be odd...it just sorta turned out that way.

I have a transferware plate with a scene from David Copperfield...

... one of those odd pieces I picked up at the antique mall...

...and one of my favorite sedums...Ogon.
The odd thing about Ogon is, that it doesn't like full sun, but prefers some afternoon shade...at least in the South.

Last, I added a dried artichoke. Three odd things, I know, but I can change it around tomorrow if it's making me crazy.
I'm off to join Marty @ A Stroll Thru Life for Table Top Tuesday.
Hugs,
Babs

Your plate is gorgeous, I love the scene and the shape of it..it made a beautiful vignette as a phocal element, although I love your sedums-ogon, they are soo lovely and dainty. Have a lovely week.

I don't think it's odd at all. Your sedum is lovely and decorating with plates is always a good idea!

I love your "odd" vignette!! That plate is great! Reminds me of Masterpiece Theater...my parents had us watch David Copperfield. :) You crack me up...."if it's making me crazy"...Let me know if you got used to it. I'll be curious!

Not odd at all Babs, I love it!! Thanks for the info on that sedum. I planted some on our pool deck last year in full sun and was wondering why it wasn't doing too well.

I love the way you mixed chartreuse with coral. Great combination. I have to go out to my garden and bring in some sedum. Looks great!

Love that plate. The shape is great as is the depiction
I have sedum in my garden but I don't think I have ever seen Ogon. It's really beautiful.
