Topiary Bargain!

Just thought I'd let y'all know...I just came back from my local WalMart. They had nice, large, real Eugenia topiaries for, what I think, is a great price...

They're about 50-55 inches tall, according to my guesstimate...I'm 5'2" and they came to about the middle of my forehead...if that helps you figure out how tall they are.
Don't know if every store carries them, but if you're a topiary lover like I am, check them out...and no, I'm not getting paid for telling y'all this. It's just 'cause I'm such a bargain hunter, and I love to spread the word...LOL
Hugs,
Babs

What a great tip, Babs! It's the perfect time to plant those around here; and I've been wanting to add a couple to the back landscape. I'll have to check my local stores. Thanks for sharing!

I love topiaries and these look like a great bargain -- I don't have any OUTSIDE ones but I do have an inside one and I just bought today an English "wobble" to train another topiary on.

Thanks for sharing this -- WM does have good sales at the end of the season!

Thanks, Babs. Not only a good price, but look how full and healthy these are. I have one growing by our front door and it has recently put out a lot of new growth. I need to work on shaping it soon before it is totally out of control.

Thanks for the heads up about those. I shop at Walmart all the time. That's where I buy my groceries. I'll have to check those out. They're beautiful! My only problem would be worrying if I could keep them alive and looking that good! Ha!

Great tip thanks. I love topiaries but they don't seem to do to well in NJ by me anyway. It is a shame because I would buy them in a minute.

I'd love to buy some, but they'd be dead as a door nail within a couple of weeks at my house. I am NOT a good cultivator of indoor plants! I try, but I kill everything I touch!!! :-( If they were to be outdoors, our harsh winter would kill 'em right off in nothing flat. Poo! :-(

I love your topiaries. For two years in a row I bought some at Walmart at the beginning of the summer. Unfortunately here in Western PA they had to be taken in during the winter. They did not survive the dryness of the house. But at that price they are worth getting even if they last only through the summer. Hope you have better luck. BTW, thanks for the comment on the landscaping. Peggy form PA

Indeed a great deal. They look very healthy too. I have 2 cone shaped topiaries on my front porch covered with ivy. They are pretty easy to take care of. Would you have to trim these to keep the shape? With the ivy I just keep wrapping it around. :o) Enjoy your weekend Babs!

Babs, Great, I am probably too late to get them at my Walmart.
I can only try.
