Grown-Ups' Thanksgiving Table

Yay! Our Kids and Grands will be here tomorrow (Nov. 17th), and I'll hit the ground running. We also have a ton of friends and relatives who live near us, and they'll be in and out the whole week.  I can't wait! I love having a house full of family and friends.
Last post, I showed you the kids' table (click here), and now, I've pulled together a table for the BIG kids. Sometimes, I can't tell if my tablescapes are pulled together, or thrown together

I used an old pair of pheasants, (Hubby, the great white hunter, says it supposed to be a brace of pheasants)...anyway, where was I?...Oh, faux hydrangeas, leaves, a few feathers and a couple of pine cones, form the centerpiece...

...echoing the colors from the table runner...

...the candle sticks that I found the other day at TJMaxx, are shorter than I wanted so, I fudged, and...

...stood them on overturned silver bowls.

Some of the place settings have red salad plates on cream dinner plates...

...others have pheasant or quail salad plates with mustard dinner plates. I've been searching for more of these, but haven't found any yet.

I know it looks like a hodge podge, but hey...

...we're very casual folks, and the pheasants don't seem to mind the mix. So, the table's finished!
This will probably be my last post until after Thanksgiving, but I'll be by to visit.
Wishing y'all a very Happy Thanksgiving!
Hugs, Babs

Your table certainly looks beautifully pulled together...I don't think I have ever pulled a table together...they are always, always thrown together...sometimes good, sometimes not! I really like the red and gold theme you have going. Good idea on how you gave the candlesticks height.

It looks beautiful to me!!!!
Our "tablescape" will be white plates, "silver" plastic ware and jelly jar glassware...on an antique linen table square with napkins...in a cabin in the woods!!!! The centerpiece will be another jelly jar with whatever I can find blooming around the camp site :^)
Blessings to you and your family,
