It was so funny...you should have seen my neighbors and Hubby all out with their lawn mowers... frantically cutting the grass. Good thing they got it done, because today...the rain is b-a-a-a-ck! and more is predicted, for at least the next five days.
I did manage to find a few new things this week at the thrift store, though.
I guess all this rain has washed out the yard sales, and people are donating their things instead.
I just had to get this big ol' bull frog planter.
We've had so many frogs in our yard, I figured one more wouldn't hurt.
I ran out, between showers, and planted a little pot of Sedum to spiff him up for his photo.
A pair of pewter candlesticks, which I don't need. I'll probably resell these.
A wool stadium throw in a pack for carrying to the games.
It's a Faribo Pak-a-Robe. I don't need it either. I have sooo many tartan throws, but I couldn't pass this one up, because it's in really good shape.
In spite of the rain, we're still managing to get a few veggies. I'm thankful for these, at least.
Do any of y'all want rain? I'll send some your way.
Hugs,
Babs

I am tired of the rain too. Enjoyed your post. Love the throw and seat, really pretty.
No rain here so I'll take ALL you can send me. :))
Love that plaid throw.
I cut our front yard Monday morning. It has rained every afternoon. The Savannah River is overflowing at our Riverwalk. I like the big frog.
Love the frog planter!! We have had so much rain this summer but the grass is green at least! Thanks for joining TTF.
Linda
I can relate to laughing at all those people who rush out as soon as the sun tries to peek out. Mowing lawns is a competition in our area. Forget who has the better car - riding mowers are the status symbols here.
I picked up a glass frog candle holder this week but now you have inspired me to put a plant inside!
(The glass frog was at the register being used as an extra penny holder. I talked the volunteer lady into letting me buy it.)
You found some neat things at GW! I rarely go to the one in my area. It's not very good. I agree with you about all this rain. It just won't quit!!! I managed to get some things done outside that I had been putting off so I feel better about that now, but my time got cut short when another storm popped up.
You found some neat things at the thrift store. And yes, we need rain, please send some our way.
I love your frog planter. I have a Talavera frog planter that I am just wild about.
