My Graying, Decaying Halloween Foyer

Welcome to my graying, decaying Halloween foyer.
Take your time and look around.  I have all the time in the world. Muwwahhh...haahaaa.

Don't mind the crows...

...they are almost tame.

The spiders don't bite...

...they are content to spin their webs...again and again.

Vines have grown around the cherub statues.

Flowers have faded.

Thank y'all for visiting my Halloween foyer.
I hope you'll stay awhile.

Let me show you how I got the look.

I bought this floral arrangement at Goodwill for $2.92,
and took off the vase that came with it. I'll use it for another project.

I put the arrangement in a grungy urn from the garden.
The flowers were faded, but still too bright, so I lightly sprayed them with gray primer, and added dried hydrangea to the places where a few blooms were missing.
I already had everything else, except the package of spider webs and spiders, which cost $1.49 at the grocery store.
So, my Halloween foyer look cost me less than five dollars.
Hope you like it.
