Spiders and Pumpkins and Crows. Oh, My!

I decided to do-over my entry, because the graying, decaying look just wasn't doing it for Halloween.
This time, I'm going for traditional orange and black.
I got out last year's decorations, and added a couple of new things.

Last year's Halloween wreath...

... got a sprinkling of new spiders...

...crows from the graying decaying look, and a real pumpkin.

I brought the big spider inside when it rained. Can't have a soggy hairy spider.

I found this little owl votive holder at Walmart. He looked a little drab, so I painted his eyes orange.

Treats for little goblins...if we get any.

Happy Halloween!

Love your style.
You are way ahead of me.
Threw my back out and I have not been able to get up to the attic to pull out the spooky decorations!

Babs, I think this is much more fun than the "graying, decaying look". This is so cute and happy. I hope your grandson gets to see this. The orange and black of Halloween really does make a statement. ;-)

I love the candy in the tiered disply and the owl too. Very fun creepy crawly vignette!

Fun! Fun! Fun! I love the orange candy in the black iron tiered thing the best of all. Amazing how something simple like that has such a pop.

How festive! I KNOW your grandkids will give you the thumbs up with that set-up! I love all of the black and orange together. As our subdivision gets older we have fewer and fewer trick or treaters each year too. We used to have so many we would run out of candy! It's kind of sad now. I miss those busy days. We live towards the back of the subdivision which gets less people too. I will still buy candy and turn the lights on etc. My youngest is going trick or treating too. Not many more years left for him to do that either.

Oh Babs, I love this one much better. The orange eyes on the owl are perfect and the spider looks cute on the mirror. I have been seeing lots of spiders around here, thank goodness that are not that large.
Have a blessed Sunday. xoGinger

What fab and fun decorations!

And fun to change them up just a bit year after year.

Graying and decaying, ha ha, my hair and bones!
Very Halloweeny entry! Except for tablecapes, I am skipping it . Mums and pumpkins out side, that's it. No one comes, so why bother!
Hope all is well, Babs!

Your entry table looks wonderful - love the bright orange and black colour scheme. The spiders look fun and that's a great idea to paint the eyes of the piece you found at Walmart.
