My cold's finally gone, and I decided to go shopping at one of my favorite places.
Here are some of the things that caught my eye.
Cute chick print...
I saw two or three well buckets...
...and a painting of hay bales.
There seemed to be a lot of farm-style things today.
I couldn't believe this child's high chair was only $20.
Some pretty things for the "farm house"...
...red and white Wood and Sons transferware demitasse cups and saucers...
This set of knives and tea towel were calling my name...
...walking sticks...
...cute chair and desk...
...more transferware and a Bordallo Pinheiro creamer.
A "rare" Friendly Village child's mug...
...and last, but not least...
...a kudzu vine tree!
After we got home it started raining, so I'm curling up on the couch with a book, a cup of honey vanilla chamomile tea, and a lemon biscotti. Ahhhh.
Hope y'all had a great day.

There were some great things there…I think I would have snatched up that child's chair and that tea towel with the monogram!…Glad you got out and did some shopping, but it is always nice to come home and relax with a cup of tea!
I love browsing places like that. Your tea and biscotti look divine!
Loved going shopping with you, Babs! Was it our local Queen? I haven't been there in ages...need to go! I did find a great demijohn at GW...maybe from the same person who donated yours. I love the little goats! Stay warm!...hugs...Debbie
Thanks for taking us along, Babs. I always enjoy a shopping trip. '-)
How fun to browse through these lovely items. I always enjoy shopping. Tea and biscotti is a welcome site.I hope my tutorial helped you out.....
I love going on these shopping trips with you! You saw some nice things. I liked that painting with the hay bales and the tea towel.
I love your basket of books. What a neat way to display them and have them close by to enjoy. Love those walking sticks at the shop. (your blog is still not updating so I'm over here looking for you! ; ) Hugs!
Babs,
Just this morning, as I headed out to Worship, my one goal this evening was to come looking for you. Wish you could have seen my face when I opened my Main Page and there you were...right at the top of my notifications!!!
This looks a great place to shop for inspiration, dear friend! "Mr. Ed" & I have a place where we shop once a month for the same reason...and I always manage to find a "treasure"...or two!!!
Take good care of yourself!!! 2014 holds amazing opportunities in store for us both!!!
Fondly,
Pat
Oh my what a lovely shop with a few things that I would have wanted ;-) I have the coop chicks sign on the side of my chicken coop ~!
WOW, Babs, you hit the jackpot! Love all of your finds. Glad you're feeling better.
I love spending days like that, looks like my kind of place. I see a million things to fall in love with!
Thanks for taking us along!
Hugs,
Patti
That was a great shop that you were visiting. Especially liked the dog face in coat and tie!
I don't dare go visit or I would buy half the store!! Wouldn't that metal goat look neat in my garden!!! I really like that!!
I want that chair and desk!!! I have a birthday coming up in June. Buy it for me! :-) :-) :-)
Only in our beloved Georgia would you find a Kudzu Tree. I am still laughing about the metal goats. They are so funny.
I was wondering about you and came by. I had not received notification of a post in ages. Of course, I have been away from the computer often.
The blog looks good, love the header.
xoxoGinger
Hi Babs! Oh, I so did enjoy going shopping with you. I saw a few things I would have loved to have had and too bad I don't have any money! :)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Nice variety of finds. I have one of the cop-op chick signs.
