Make a Happy Tray

It's cold, rainy and dreary outside today...you know, one of those days when it feels 20 degrees colder than it actually is.
But, I ran a couple of errands, and stopped by the store looking for tulips, to brighten things up a bit.

I found these cherry red ones, and decided to make a "happy tray" with things that make me smile.

A cup of tea in a transferware cup...

...a scented candle with a monogram, photo of my sweet grands, one of my bubble paperweights, and my charm bracelets.

I think I'll put the tray on my bedside table, snuggle under the covers, read a little, and enjoy another cup of tea.

What would you put on your happy tray?

Babs,
Hi! I think your tray is a hit...

That is so sweet. I know what you mean about how it seems colder out sometimes just because of the weather conditions. I never thought about what I'd put on a tray for me like this! I know I'd use decaffe coffe because I'm a coffee drinker, definitely some flowers, perhaps a picture of my son's wedding with all of us in it, perhaps a little wedge of pie! Stay warm...hugs, Liz

Hi Babs, thanks for visiting me and my annual container planning - I see you have some happy red tulips (which I love). Tulips make me happy without anything else, but your happy tray is perfect. I'll stop back again, it's nice meeting you - from the looks of your 'about me', we have several things in common. :)

Hi Babs,

I love your Happy Tray -- it's sooo pretty!! I really adore tulips, and this makes me want to run out and buy some. If I were fixing a happy tray for myself, I'd be sure to include a book and/or magazine, fresh flowers, and coffee or hot tea in a beautiful cup.

Thanks for sharing and have a great day!

I love the idea of a happy tray. I need to make them for myself when I have a case of the blahs or blues or winter drearies.

I'm glad you found tulips out there. I was thinking tulips for a table for my luncheon. Haven't decided, but like tulips.

Babs,
Crystal and silver and white florals would be on my "happy tray" along with a cup of hazelnut creme coffee and a French home decor magazine, dear friend!!!
Perfect solution of what to do on a dreary, damp day!!!
Fondly,
Pat
