My Leprechaun Has Disappeared

Yes, my leprechaun has disappeared!
Hubby and I have turned the house upside down, and found lots of junk...other lost things...but no leprechaun.

So, I started putting out my "new" shamrock mugs...

...on the kitchen hutch. The leaf plates are a new find, too.

Next, I started on the entry chest...

...with a little St. Patrick's Day sign from the Dollar Tree, and a green candle...

I think Hare E. Rabbit felt badly about his attitude in the last post, because he volunteered to stand in for the leprechaun.

He even volunteered to wear...um...hold...green and gold necklaces. Oh, I forgot to tell you...I also added green ribbon to the lamp shade.

The missing leprechaun? We still haven't seen him, but a bowl of gold "magically" appeared on the entry chest where the candle had been.

And, Hare E.? He's gotten into the spirit of  St. Patrick's Day...

...after all,  "Everyone's Irish on St. Patrick's Day!"

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Sounds a lot like the game they play in elementary school. They have a little lephrechon run around the school and mess up classrooms. A lot of fun! Your St. Patrick's Day vignette looks great in your foyer.

Babs,
Lovely vignette, dear friend!!!
I adore your new Majolica mugs!
. . .and I'm sure we have the same cabbage salad/ dessert dishes! I love mine!!!
Now about your MIA Lephrechon. . .I checked your archives and found him...under Shamrock Surprise, March 12, 2012!!!
Fondly,
Pat
P.S. Many times when I've misplaced an item if Igo back to a previous post, it will remind me where I've stored the accessory for the Season! Hope this helps!

Who needs a silly leprechaun when you have a white hare? This all looks festive, Babs. I can't seem to get with the program. I pulled a few things out to set a tray but have yet to do even that. I need my mojo back.
On another note, I've been on the search for those plates you found. Where did you find them? They are Bordollo Pinheiro, right? Thanks for any information you can share.

Well, I guess it is difficult to hold on to a Leprechaun! He was probably afraid you would steal all of his gold. Love all of the St. Patrick's day items and the way you coerced the bunny into service - so cute!!

Looks great! I'd be on the lookout for the leprechaun, he's probably into mischief:@)

Well they say leprechauns are mischievious! I bet he's watching you and laughing! Well his standing is doing a fine job! Those majolica mugs are so pretty- I've never seen that pattern before. Love that big basket and how it fills the whole top of the chest. Wishing you a happy St. Patricks Day!

Hare E. Looks like he is ready for a St. Patrick's day parade! Hope that leprechaun doesn't cause too much mischief and keeps leaving gold! I am crushing on your mugs!! Very cute

Babs, I'd much rather have a white hare than a leprechaun! He's so festive donning his beads and holding the Irish flag :)

As they say it is the story that gives value and your tale of the search for the leprechaun is great. I lose things all the time and you made it fun. Have a great hare day, Pam

come visit my blog, thanks

Oh, how nice of Hare E. to fill in for the missing Leprechaun! Took me some extra searching for our guy too as he wasn't where he should have been. You have created lovely vignettes for this fun holiday!

Beautiful vignette sweet lady, I love it! Leprechauns are so cute. In the neighborhood where I grew up in Astoria-Queens back tan it was Irish and Italian, so I'm so familiar with St. Pat's. All of us girls wore shamrock pins in our lapels and asked: Kiss me I'm Irish even if we weren't...so much memories of youth and fun! I'm smitten with your dishes and the adorable bunny, too! Enjoy your weekend.

Love your festive Irish decor. You never hear of O'Hare? A very Irish bunny indeed. I think I found your leprechaun, but I don't think you want him back till he straightens out. Some people don't know how to celebrate responsibly, even little people!
Thanks so much for taking part in the 6th annual St. Pat's Bog Crawl! Slainte'!
