Hubby and I went to a local antiques, garden, and craft festival, and had fun looking at all the booths. There are a lot of pics, so grab a glass of iced tea, and enjoy.
I thought this was so creative. It's an old sewing machine cabinet turned into a beverage server. Love the Georgia red and black, and the cast iron bulldog bottle opener.
One booth had the cutest hats...
...embellished with vintage fabrics and trims. I'm kicking myself for not buying one.
These totes were made from vintage tablecloths. Love the colors!
There were lots of ideas for gardeners ~
A sweet garden vignette ~
Colorful garden ornaments ~
Lots of garden displays and plants to buy ~

Other booths had...
Painted jars ~
Chippy monkeys ~
Currier and Ives flower pots ~
Wouldn't this be cute planted with herbs?
Dish gardens ~
Lots of Americana ~
A vintage looking rocking horse ~
And last, as we were leaving, I saw this old glider sitting under a tree with lots of plants around it. It looked so inviting. I waited a few minutes to take the pic, because a little girl with long red hair was sitting in it...so cute.
Thanks for going to the festival with me. :)

That's just about my favorite things to do! I see so many things I would love! The tote bags out of vintage fabric are wonderful and I love the hats and caps. I have to wear a cap a lot here in Florida, I never thought about embellishing one. What fun! Enjoy your week! Hugs!
That looked like a fun day of shopping! It was certainly a great weekend for outdoor shopping too. Thanks for sharing the pics.
Oh! What fun! xo
Thanks for taking us along, Babs. I'm curious about the Americana booth. Is that a local gallery, Braselton Gallery? Going to see if they have a web site.
Thanks for sharing.
Looks like fun! Just from the pictures you've shown, I could probably spend spend spend. :)
This looked like a FUN day!!
I don't think this has ever happened to me while reading a blog post like this, but I honestly would want every single thing in these pictures. It's so full of creativity that it got the old heart pumping just a little.
Of course, you might just blame that on the first piece since the husband and I are Dawgs.
But really, I don't care how it's painted, that idea of turning an old sewing machine cabinet into a beverage server is out of this world. I mean OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD.
I love it.
What a fun day Babs...so many pretty things!
That was fun Babs! I like those bags made of vintage tablecloths and those Currier and Ives pottery pieces. Looks like a fun day!
Babs, thanks for taking us with you! I would love one of those tote bags made from a vintage tablecloth!! The hats were cute also. Looks like a really fun time.
hugs,
Linda
I went too, Babs...but I don't think I saw half of what you saw! Maybe my bag of kettle corn had me distracted! lol Hugs...Debbie
Babs,
Loved tagging along to the festival with you, dear friend!!! Clever gardening ideas throughout! I adore those tote bags made from vintage tablecloths!
Have a wonderful week ahead!
Fondly,
Pat
Wow...lots of great things...I love the glider!!!
Oh let's do this again. This is one of my favorite things to do. I love that glider too but no porch to put it on. I can only dream! I love the ice tea that went along with the festival.

Well, thank you so much for taking me! It was GREAT! I loved the glider too...looked so cool and restful!
Funny, we have a Braselton Art Gallery here in my town....small world!!
Blessings to you,
J
Oh, I love all the things you shared! I think one of those tote bags would have found it's way home with me. That glider with the quilts on the back would be so perfect in the shade on a breezy summer day! Thanks for taking us all along on your adventure!

What a lovely day! That is probably one of my most favorite things to do! Thanks for sharing with us!
You don't have to tell me twice, sister! You say, "Let's go shopping!" and I'm right there with ya!!!!!!
I don't know that we have any such festivals anywhere around here, but it sure would be cool to go to one! I imagine these kinds of things are held way far outside the city limits, and I'm not much of a long distance driver. (Long distance to me means anything more than 20 miles!!!)
I remember those old gliders! My grandparents had one, and it was so neat to sit on it and push back and forth in the summer! Good times!
Glad you had fun! Have a great weekend!
Wow, it looks like y'all had a great time, and what wonderful things you saw! Those tote bags made from the vintage tablecloths were so pretty, and I adored that vintage glider.
Thanks for taking me along on your shopping trip! So much fun stuff to admire. Visiting from SYC. Have a great week!
Loved going along! Saw a few things that I would have loved to have brought home with me. I have a little trike in my garden. Thinking I should give it a new paint job. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
hugs,
Jann
