And, I'm starting to get some Fall decorating done.
Last post, I said I'd show you the living room, but I couldn't get it to look right. I kept moving things around...and moving things around... and finally gave up, and started on the entry.
So, instead...here's what's happening on the porch and entry~
Pumpkin colored mums ~
I used Nandina and English ivy, from the yard, to fill in between the little mums.
Last year's wreath...fluffed and used again~
Pumpkins in the entry~
Pine cones, berries, and a big pumpkin in an old farm basket ~
Another view ~
After I took the first pics of the urns, I decided they needed a little height, so I added some "verticality" with some dried day lily stalks from the garden. Hopefully, the plants will get taller soon and fill in.
Don't look at the dirty brickwork near the urn...gotta power wash the porch. Hmmm, maybe I'll put that on Hubby's honey-do list.
Until next time~

Looks so good! Love the color of your mums.
Babs, it is looking good! Love your entry way. My front door area is exposed and tiny so I don't decorate much outside these days. I'm still tweaking the living room here also.
hugs,
Linda
Your front entrance looks great and loving your wreath!!
Nice pumpkin in a basket!!
Everything looks so pretty Babs!! I love how you added the twigs in your urns.
Love your wreath, Babs - everything is looking so festive in your pretty spaces.
Your porch and entry look beautiful, Babs! I think the ivy poked down is so sweet. Funny, I planted an urn for the first time and thought I didn't have the mums far enough down! lol!

I love your wreath! It's so full and pretty. I like your orange mums too. I'm loving these cool temps so far!
Hi Babs, I am so happy it is cooling off. Your porch urn looks pretty. The foyer is looking like too. xo, olive
Hi Babs! Oh, I love your porch and your entry. Everything looks so pretty and I especially love the way you decorated the pumpkin in that basket! :) Hope you're doing well.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Your porch and entry are beautiful, Babs! I love those pumpkin colored mums and your basket of fall!!
After a brief bout of cooler temperatures here in MO, it's been in the 80's the last few days. I'm finishing up outdoor/garden chores and decorating is one of those. Thanks for the inspiration!!
Note to self: Go get a big old pumpkin and put it in a farm basket.
I loved it all, Babs, and yes, it is most definitely becoming fall here.
(And I get it about the living room too. I keep changing things in mine, which is one of the reasons I haven't posted it.)
Your front porch and entry look beautiful and very "Autumnal," Babs! I love those sweet mums. That old farmer's basket is so perfect with the big pumpkin and pinecones.
Fabulous wreath and front door...a real show stopper!
Babs, I love your front porch and entry! Beautiful fall display!
So pretty is everything you have posted.
Love your fall decor.

Hey there, Babs! I understand getting frustrated with one area and just moving on to another. It's the way of decorating sometimes! You did a wonderful job with both your porch and entryway. My pinning finger got a workout! You and I have somewhat similar entryways and stairwell. I really love the way you have that "gallery" on the wall going up the stairs. I've wanted to do something there in our home, and you've just given me wonderful inspiration!
I'm glad fall has finally come to Georgia! Enjoy it!
