Getting Ready for Spring

It looks like Spring is here in a hurry...well maybe.
Monday was 84 degrees.
We're still moving things around downstairs. Our old TV had some pixel problems, so we got a new, larger TV and console.
The entertainment center was moved to Hubby's music room, and now there's no place to store books, games and the Christmas dishes that used to live in it.

I did get a new basket to hold winter throws though, I'd been looking for large basket for a while and found this one at Target.

I made a vignette on the round end table. At least it keeps me from piling stuff on top of it during all the sorting.
I also took down the sconces on either side of the picture, and I'm looking for something to replace the botanical print.

Don't look at the mess behind the chair. That's an old chest that we'll put out for the yard sale.
I couldn't see hauling it out to the shed and then back again when it's time to set up for the sale.

A robin pillow is my only Spring thing in the living room. The rest of the room is piled high with books...more yard sale stuff.

Outside, things are starting to bloom.
Violas from last year are in the flower boxes, and hyacinths and tiny daffodils are blooming. I put them in a pot last year after they died back, and forgot about them. I love "surprises" like that.

Even though it looks like Spring, I'll keep the throws handy's only supposed to be 50 deg. tomorrow...and rainy.
I love Spring!

I like the basket idea and the shape of the one you found. I like the Orange chair- that's a totally in color this year! The table vignette looks great! Love seeing the flowers blooming! Wow you guys have really warmed up a lot. We are thrilled to be in the 50's! The snow has melted a lot here and I'm seeing the ground again in a lot of areas in my yard.

Our weather is swinging back and forth, as well, but I thing spring is taking the upper hand. Your spring flowers are beautiful!! Love your robin pillow, too!

Happy first day of Spring, dear friend!!!
Your room is taking shape, quite nicely!!!
As we've completed one major renewal, now it's time to get out all the painter's cloths, brushes and rollers. So~o~o, I must postpone my Spring decorating until we're finished. Like you, this Spring decorating is in somewhat of a limbo!!!
At least, when we're finished the upper level will be refreshed and renewed. . .much like Spring!!!
