It's been so warm here in Georgia; it really feels like Spring is here. Yesterday, I worked in the yard a bit, and pruned the Natchez crepe myrtle in the front yard. Hubby trimmed the monkey grass, thank goodness...not one of my favorite things to do.
I've been putting off pruning, because I was afraid we'd get a freeze. But, our Georgia groundhog, General Beauregard Lee, said we'll have an early Spring, so I guess I'm ok.
Our Winter Daphne, out back by the shed, and the daffodils in the side yard, have started blooming. The fragrance of the daphne is heavenly; so, I cut some and added a few of the daffodils, for my bedside table.
I won't show you the rest of the bedroom, since it really isn't blog ready... you know...I haven't ironed the sheets and pillowcases or straightened the rest of the room.
This little majolica pitcher is one of my favorite antique store finds. I don't know the pattern or maker, but I just love it.
I wish you could smell the wonderful fragrance.
Hope you have beautiful weather and a great weekend.
