I know we did. I didn't have to exchange a thing...not that we usually do anyway, unless a size is wrong.
I stopped by my local thrift store this morning. It was so busy with people making donations, that they had a policeman directing traffic in the donation area.
It wasn't really crowded inside though, so, I looked around, and look what I found!
"A Journey for Two by Caribou", and it's going to my aunt, who collects Snowbabies.
But, before I take it to her tomorrow, I set up a little vignette on the hutch, to take a few pics for you.
I tried putting it under a cloche, but couldn't get a very good pic.
It's in perfect condition...not even a flea bite. ;)
Have y'all been shopping or thrifting this week?
Or, just recovering from all that Christmas food and excitement?

Hi Babs, your lucky aunt and what a great find! I love this piece and how great to have found it in perfect condition. I love the little flocked tress in the vignette, looks perfect. We’ve had our family and been to visit family. Soon we’ll start to put Christmas away. Still a few more days to enjoy! Happy New Year Babs.........

I've not been in the stores post Christmas. Need to get things packed up here, but haven't done that either. Glad you found some bargains.

Oh, wow! Dumb me! I didn't consider that there might be a lot of people making donations right after Christmas! I need to get my hips to a few of those thrift stores this week!!! Thanks for the tip!
You made a great find! Congratulations! Your aunt will be really happy to get it into her hands!

What a great thrift store find, Babs, and such a very sweet gift for your aunt! That's so thoughtful of you!
I haven't been shopping this week; we shopped a bunch last week and the week before. Still eating too much Christmas food, and we did manage to go to a matinee movie on Friday.
Visiting from Seasonal Sundays; I hope you have a great week, Babs!

Hi Babs, Your vignette is so pretty and I bet your aunt will love her gift. I haven't visited a thrift store recently but I did find some great chairs at an antique mall. I'll be posting them soon. Thanks for linking to the Open House party.
Hugs,
Sherry
