Back from the Beach Tablescape

Hi everyone!
We spent a few days at the beach and now, we're back home remembering all the fun we had.

We're doing laundry, watering plants...you know... the usual after trip chores.
So, I decided to do a quick end-of-summer tablescape on the coffee table in the family room.

I got out my old bamboo trays, and new scallop shell dishes...

...and grabbed a handful of Vinca to put in a vase.
Right now, it's about the only thing blooming in our yard.

I used a big clam shell to hold crackers...

...and small shells to hold salt, pepper and Old Bay seasoning.

Now, all I have to make is a shrimp salad for lunch, put my feet up...

and...

 Ahhhh..  :)

Hope y'all have a fun and safe Labor Day weekend.

xo Babs

What a cute beach tablescape, Babs! Love the scallop shell dishes and your use of shells to hold the crackers and condiments. This is perfect! Your vincas are pretty, as well. Ours go strong until the first frost! Have a great weekend!

I didn't have a lot of spare time today, but I took just a few minutes to browse blogs.

And this, was what I found.

Worth it.
This is a perfect little happy post.

Now that really looks like the life! Your coffee tablescape looks perfectly inviting, and a shrimp salad sounds delicious! I really like those rattan wrapped glasses.
