A Bit More Christmas 2014 ~ Part Two

The big day is almost here and I've finally finished decorating.
I can't believe that yesterday, we bought another/different tree for the family room and had a lot of fun decorating it last night.

It's a smallish one to fit into the space between the sofa and the windows.
The one we had there before was really tiny.

I used some buffalo check ribbon...

added a couple of deer antler ornaments...

...a reindeer.

A pine cone bird snuggles in a nest...

...and a bird ornament I made from an old bird, with a broken leg, and left over bits of greenery...

...a wooden squirrel is a fun reminder of the year we had lots of squirrels.

The round table by the sofa holds snack plates and mugs, waiting to be filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate.

Here are some outdoor things I forgot to show you last time...

... a snooty reindeer, we had forgotten in the shed, is now in the planter on the deck.

Wreaths on the tutors near the garden shed. The other one looks the same...I couldn't get a good pic of them together.

We put a home made topiary tree, surrounded by magnolia leaves, in an urn near the front steps.  The tree is the "focal point" :) in our yard. The rest of our lights are white.
I just realized, you can see some of the Christmas lights on our neighbor house in the pic. They really went all out this year.

I hope y'all are ready for Santa.

A little bird told me Santa's packing his sleigh. :)
I know he'll bring you lots of presents, because y'all are the best!

Remembering the reason for Christmas, the birth of Jesus.

Hubby and I would like to wish all of you, love, peace and happiness this Christmas, and always.
