The flowers, in the flower boxes, on either side of the mailbox still look good, and I'm not about to rip them out and put in something fallish. I'm so
So, off I went to look for something Halloween-ish that would go with pink.
I hit the Dollar Tree to see what they had.
Tombstones!
This one with a skull, had moss on it...
...and this one had a spooky spider...spinning her web.
For a frightfully expensive...two dollars, I have a mini grave yard at my mailbox.
Whoo Hoo!
More Halloween "mini-vignettes" to come.

How adorable is that! What would we do without Dollar Tree? I do not want to find out, so much fun for $1!
Oh, how funny and lovely and very clever is this! I love your idea!
Have a happy time

It looks SPOOKTACULAR Babs!! Love the way the succulents look in the flower box!
Absolutely nothing wrong with frugality, especially in this economy!!! You did just the right thing by hitting up the dollar store for something fun to get the mailbox area into the spirit of the season! And I see nothing wrong with leaving the flowers in there. With the tombstones added to the planter, the flowers and foliage take on a whole new look...kind of like serpents with flowery pink tongues!!!
How adorable and fun this is!!! You did an awesome job decorating your mail box for Halloween. The tombstones are the most adorable, what a fabulous creation my friend! Have a lovely weekend.
FABBY
You tombstones really add a Halloween vibe to your mailbox! I've hardly done any Halloween decorating this year. I guess because I don't have any kids trick or treating for the first time. I will probably put out some things on Halloween day for the little ones coming to our door.
How cute, Babs! Dollar Tree always come through for quick, inexpensive, seasonal accents! Your flowers are still really pretty; and I wouldn't pull them out just yet, either!
