Let's Go Shopping 1.22.15

I popped in to my favorite antique/decor shop this afternoon, to see what was new.
Several of the vendors were rearranging their booths, so I didn't get a lot of pics.
But, would you believe who I bumped into?

 Chip's Southern cousin!
Check out Alison's (The Polohouse) handsome Chip HERE

The tag indicated it was vintage, and it looks like it's been repainted, but he's still impressive.

You can see I was checking out all the red things in the shop.

Don't you love these chests?

Cute Valentine's Day things.

A big red chicken bucket.

I saw quite a bit of red furniture.

Cute pillows

And, of course, a deer wearing a red scarf...what else? :)

And the sweetest couple...Raggedy Ann and Andy.

I haven't done many projects lately...winter blahs.
But, Hubby is itching to add a surround to the mantel we did in November. Click here to see it.
He's been measuring and drawing plans.
I'm thinking about redecorating our bedroom, but that's as far as I've gotten.
I am sooo over the taupe/brown coverlet, curtains, and head board. Guess I'd better start making a list.

Hope y'all have a great weekend,
xo Babs

We MUST name him! Skip?!?!?

He is a much younger and in better shape cousin, I see!

So excited that I saw this, Babs!

Oh, I always love it when you take us along shopping. Chip's cousin is pretty cute. ;-)
Love seeing all the red, especially that red furniture. Makes me want to redo some things around here.
I'm off to the Round Top Winter Antique Show tomorrow. It's cold and wet, but what better activity than an antique show.

Thanks for the shopping trip- lots of nice items there! My mom has his Chip's Great Lakes cousin- we'll have to name him too! It had to be repainted too. We added a small lantern to it and Dan ran wiring underground to the house so it's lit up every night now. I like that "Love is all you need" pillow!
